This was taken a few days after the volcanic erruption in Iceland. What grounded all the flights around the UK. Oh the misery… what about the people who are having to live there, with sulphur in the air, with it constantly raining ash? Where is all the coverage of us trying to help them out? Oh no, it’s all about the problem with people’s flights being cancelled. (Disclaimer – I do really feel for those who are stuck where they aren’t supposed to be, it must *really* suck, but is it really worse than having to live in the place it’s all happening? I think not!) Anyway, the brown-ness of the clouds is the ash! It does make for a cool photo…
These are in my neighbour’s garden (the one I haven’t met yet, they don’t seem to be in their garden much). I have no idea what they are but my mum pointed them out a couple of weeks ago when she and my dad were over for sunday lunch (home made burgers made by our very own Chef Deano) in the sun. I had to take a photo for her!
I have loads of photos from the nice weather – but I haven’t had time to edit them… too busy with being lazy. >_< I fail! Oh well…
Have you got any photos that you keep meaning to post but haven’t got around to? Lemme see!

Haven’t had any more views like that though – it just all of a sudden went dark like over an hr before it should have, and it was all these brown clouds! Very odd!
I want to see more of those pics! Definitely.
Flights got canceled for many days in Germany too because of the ash cloud – which we actually never ever saw. Your picture is quite impressive, I think.
Oh and btw, the plant is a Forsythia.

Pretty pretty!
Veronica´s last blog ..Is there anybody out there?
Indeed!
Still keeping my figners crossed btw!
I was thinking the same thing about the poor people living there. I have seen a little TINY bit of coverage about it and those poor people are living in feet of solidified ash.
But the picture is stunning.
At least I’m not the only one who thinks that then!
Wow, two great photos, looking forward to seeing the rest of them when you get out of your lazy spell. Enjoy being lazy though, it can never last for long! Jen.

Thanks Jen… you’re right, it never does last does it?
Lovely pictures – well done for catching the cloud one.
Glad you’ve had some nice weather to enjoy and I hope you get some more soon!

Wow, that first pic looks like a painting on the front of a novel. Beautiful! And is that pretty yellow flower forsythia?

Thank you!
As you’re the second person to mention the flower by name, I’m going to assume that yes, it is forsythia!
