The Ickiest Meme Ever...

Or the badge is at least. Thanks to Jen AND Nickie, I've been given this, eh, well quite frankly icky award - The Memetastic Award.



I mean look at it. It's ugly, there's comic sans in there, and there's orange in it. I don't really like orange. It's icky.

So here are the "rules":

1. You must proudly display the absolutely disgusting graphic that I have created for these purposes (put it in your post, you don't have to put it in your sidebar, I think that would seriously be asking too much). It's so bad that not only did I use COMIC SANS, but there's even a little fucking jumping, celebrating kitten down there at the bottom. It's horrifying! But its presence in your award celebration is crucial to the memetastic process we're creating here. If you need a higher resolution version... I totally have one!!

2. You must list 5 things about yourself, and 4 of them must be bold-faced lies. Just make some shit up, we'll never know; one of them has to be true, though. Of course, nobody will ever know the difference, so we're just on the honor system here.

3. You must pass this award on to 5 bloggers that you either like or don't like or don't really have much of an opinion about. I don't care who you pick, and nobody needs to know why.

OK, so, #1 is checked. I hope I don't have nightmares of the fluffiness. Oh god, I can imagine it already - raining orange stars, which would be the size of large meteors and I'd be trying to escape them but the damn stupid kitten keeps tripping me up every step! *shudders*

Next is #2 - Five things about me that are all completely true...

1. I've met Ewan McGregor. (pays to live in the same town as his parents!)


2. I've met Ainsley Harriot. (sometimes I did refined things in Glasgow too!)

Well, according to Scottish Mum, Vonnie and Tiddlyompompom I am!

Now apparently there are rules to accepting this award.

So... my seven things:

• I won't tell you about going out with a hat on those mornings when my hair needs a really good wash but I couldn't be bothered having a shower first thing.


• Or that I love nothing more than cosying up in my scaffy old pyjamas which consist of a nighty/tshirt type top I've had for about 10 years now (Oh dear god... that's bad!) and some sweats that I used during the last 2 months of both my pregnancies.


• I definitely am *not* going to mention how I only have two bags (oh the SHAME of a style guru to only have two bags to her name!)


• Or that I have to buy boots specially so that they fit my elephant-like calves.


• I'm so not mentioning the lack of make up I wear on a daily basis.


• And there is *no* way I'm talking about how the closest to cleansing my face is using baby wipes!


• Last but not least... I refuse to share that I smoke, therein making my skin crappy. (yes I know, I know... please *don't* start with the "you should quit y'know" comments... that just makes me think of having one even more!)

Things That Make Me Grumpy

So... the lovely Jen at The King and Eye has tagged me for this meme, where I've to tell you all seven things that make me grumpy! What a fun idea! ;)

1. Being woken up too early in the morning by Zack, who usually wakes up Max in his commotion. In fact, lets just say mornings in general equal a grumpy Softi.


2. Not having any chocolate in the house whatsoever.


3. Being without a fag (cigarette for those non-UK people!) for an entire day. And yes, I know I should stop. I am cutting down though, that's a start right?


4. My internet being dodgy. Luckily it doesn't happen too often (if you overlook the fact that BT caps our download speeds to almost zero in the evenings... I can still do stuff online, but god forbid I try to download anything!).


5. My period. Nuff said.


6. Being too cold. Which happens a lot. Even when Dean insists it's warm. The guy is weird...


7. And... the rabbit peeing on my bean bag. Little bugger seems to think that it's his litter tray. Well, that's not fair really. So long as the bean bag is in a Benny-Safe-Zone he's really good and doesn't even poop anywhere but his cage or the cat's litter tray. But still... the bugger keeps pissing on my leather bean bag. Wee shite!

So... that's my seven things that make me grumpy. I'm sure I could mention many many more (in fact I'm sure Dean could mention even more on top of that!), but I'll stop at seven. *cough*

Oh I remember the days when that was such a Big Deal as a new blogger... remember that?

So, the loverly Mrs W over at Clinically Fed Up decided to tag me for this meme/award. A meme that wants me to tell you seven things I haven't written about myself. Seven secrets from the interwebs I suppose? An award for being a "kreativ blogger". I guess my photography counts? That and writing? Cause they're the only creative things I've ever done! Other than making my kidlets I suppose... does that count?

1. I got singing lessons when I was younger. I was actually pretty good. Till I went to uni, started smoking and stopped practicing. Now you wouldn't want me to sing, although I do it anyway!

2. There were times when Max was wee and I was in the midst of horrid post natal depression that I wish he'd never been born cause things would be so much better/easier without him. *slaps self for even thinking it*

3. I have a problem with saving money. I can't do it. If there's money in my account that isn't earmarked for bills I can't seem to stop myself from spending it. Usually on stupid shit. I am trying to work on this one though.

4. When I was at uni I was a bit of a slut. *cough* Hey, it was fun, and I was safe... don't worry! ;)

5. The boys are going to their dad's at the end of the month for a whole week. That will be the first time I've been that long without my kids since I got preggo with Zack (OMGOMGOMG YAAAAAY!).

6. I once wrote on my exam desk that my maths teacher couldn't teach, and then outright denied it when they asked, knowing damn well that it was me cause the seats were marked for each student.

7. Yay, last one! Erm... I am stupidly gullible. You know how it's not in the dictionary? Yeah... I actually checked. Lots of jokes go way over my head, so really - I need some explanations sometimes. Shit, I probably shouldn't have admitted that one eh?

Phew, ok that wasn't quite as hard as I thought once I got started!
