WoW: I got promoted!

Ahh my first WoW post on softthistle.net... yay!
Over the past few months I've not had as much time for WoW. In fact I'd only log on maybe once or twice a week to say hello to people. Hey I've had a lot to do mkay? Well, now that we've moved house, I've been able to get into playing a bit more in the evenings again. It's a great place for me to hang out with friends and I get to play a game with them too - pretty cool when I'm stuck in on my own every night!
So our guild has been going through quite a few changes over the last few weeks, including losing some of out raiders and also a couple of our admin (our rank for officer). As a result our GM and admins decided they needed some new flesh to boss people around. Naturally I thought I'd be good at that job, so I put in a lil application!
There were five of us who had applied, and only two places, so I wasn't too sure if I'd get it as I hadn't been able to get online much till recently, but I was pleasantly surprised on Wednesday to find that I was successful. So... Happy Softi is indeed very Happy, and now with extra POWAH!
Basically I'll be helping out with any website admin, recruitment and generally being my chatty and approachable self. I had that warm fuzzy feeling inside when I got to read what my fellow guildies had written about me in our seekret admin forums... I have a lot to live up to I'm afraid, I just hope I don't let anyone down!

Congrats :) Is it a paid position or just something thats great to do? Never played wow so no idea how these things work

Thanks hun :) It's not a paid thing, but kinda shows recognition to the person, plus adds more things to do on my list... ;)
