So about a month ago.
Actually, it was more like about 6 weeks ago…
Nikki and I met up with our boys, who share the same birthday!
I took photos with the shiny D90, and then pretty much forgot I had them.
Well, I got some new Lightroom presets today from Pretty Presets and I thought I’d have a little fun with them…
I actually feel really happy with these photos now. This is the sort of ‘style’ I love, and want to have, and I’m finally getting the results I want! Of course since I have been working on them today I am now being asked when we can go to Paul’s again by Zack. Soon I hope!

Definitely soon. These are fabby photos – love the colours in the third one – do you rate Lightroom then? I tried it a few months ago and got a bit confused with its file management and indexing – drove my Windows head a bit batty (or maybe I’m just a bit batty? probably!)

There’s a lot you can do in it – I didn’t realise how to use it at first, till I discovered the ‘develop’ tab at the top right. Also there are loooooads of presets out there that are Awesome!

Jumping over form Mummytime. Awesome shots. I like the coloring in the photos. I use PS Elements and Topaz Labs (just started), but didn’t think about Lightroom… maybe I need to look into it.
It does take a while to get used to, but once you do, it’s a great tool!
